Becoming a Member
of Our "Family of Faith"
If you're interested in joining Faith Presbyterian Church or in learning more about our doctrine and ministry, you're invited to attend the Inquirers Class this fall.
The class will meet at the church prior to the worship service for three consecutive Sundays, October 9-23, 9:00-9:50 am, and for a special wrap-up session at the pastor's home (with lunch!), following the worship service on October 30, 12:30-2:30 pm.
Attendance at all four of these classes is required for any who desire to join Faith Church, whether by initial profession of faith in Jesus Christ or by letter of transfer from another church; and is encouraged for all those seeking to deepen their understanding of the faith they already confess.
On a Sunday in mid-November (prior to Thanksgiving), all those who've completed the course and wish to become members will be presented before the congregation and received into the membership of Faith Presbyterian Church. At that time, any among this group who have never been baptized will receive the sacrament.
